8th Grade Math Lab: Intro to Integers

For these games, you do not need to record anything in your notebooks.

First play Builder Ted.  Do level 2 and 3.  After you have completed BOTH levels successfully, move on to the next game.

Next, play Circle 0.  Solve the puzzle at least once.

If you have time computer time left, you may play any game under Integers on the Number and Computation Games page.

7th Grade Math Lab: Order of Operations

Play these order of operations games. Use your notebook for any work. NO CALCULATORS!

To warm up, play this Order of Operations game.  Click on the operations in the order you will do them.  You do not actually have to work out the problems.  After you get 10 correct, you will get to play an arcade game.  For that game, click the operations in the order you would do them.  Show me your score if you think it is high enough to get on the high score board.

Next, play Select an Operation.  Number in your notebook from 1 to 10 (leave space in between).  Write down the problems AND the answers for ten problems.  You do not need to show your work because you will be doing the work on screen (but you can show it if you want to).

Finally, play Order of Operations Rags to Riches.  If you win 1,000,000, let me see your screen, and you can add your name to the Millionaire's Club!

If you have extra time, you may play any game under Order of Operations or Exponents on the Number and Computation Games page.
